Fahrenheit 451

In the distant future, books are banned and ordered to be burned: so-called firemen are charged with this responsibility. Guy Montag is one of them: he goes about his work without questioning motives, believing he is helping out with the end of seeking knowledge. All this changes when he meets another person who makes him challenge his actions and convictions.

The Father

Drake is currently dealing with money problems and later finds out that he's going to be a father and will stop at nothing to help his soon-to-be-born child.

The Struggle Within

Ryan is furious when he finds out from his boss, DeShawn, that he's about to be deployed for the Army. Little does he know, however, his greatest challenge isn't DeShawn, but rather himself.

About

My Story

My name is Andy Farish and I was born on August 14, 1999. I grew up in Prattville, Alabama and graduated Prattville High School in 2018. I did both cheerleading and band in high school. I was the mascot for UNA for 2 years. I attended the University of North Alabama as a Cinematic Arts major from 2018 to 2020 until taking a semester off to go to Basic Military Training for the Alabama Air National Guard. I transferred to the University of Alabama in 2021 and received my Bachelor's Degree in Creative Media in 2022.

Senior Portfolio

Business of Film and Video

For my senior year at the University of Alabama, I took Business of Film and Video, which is equivalent to a Senior Portfolio. This course serves as a conclusion to the whole entire film program at Alabama. To complete this, I had to put together a pitch package for an upcoming movie of mine. This film had to be done in a professional manner. I, however, have already made three movies. In fact, all of my films have been well received and were even accepted into the University of North Alabama's George Lindsey Film Festival. I used what I learned from my previous movies to make an even better pitch package. I really enjoyed doing it and ended up with a pitch package that I was proud of.
